  • Pickering - Oshawa - Southern Durham Region
Snow squalls to affect the area today.

What:
Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 30 cm.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow.

When:
Continuing today, and diminishing this evening.

Additional information:
Lake effect snow off of Georgian Bay will affect portions of the region today. The morning and afternoon commute will likely be significantly impacted.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.

Consider postponing non-essential travel and outdoor activities until conditions improve.
